Crafted over a span of 20,000 painstaking hours, the look combined sharp Western tailoring with the richness of Indian artisanal traditions. The ensemble featured a white embroidered corset intricately detailed with pearls and gold thread, paired with tailored black trousers—both refined and architectural in their silhouette. Draped over the look was a structured, floor-length white cape, flowing into a majestic handwoven Benarasi train. Intricate Zardozi embroidery added texture and tradition, seamlessly linking India’s textile legacy with contemporary couture.
Khanna’s design also drew subtle influence from Black dandy fashion—a nod to the evening’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and the dress code, “Tailored for You.” The result was a masterclass in fashion diplomacy: rooted in Indian identity, yet globally resonant.
Isha’s accessories further elevated the look to regal heights. She wore a rare vintage Cartier diamond necklace from her mother Nita Ambani’s private collection, believed to have once belonged to the Maharaja of Nawanagar. The opulent piece featured 89 diamonds totaling over 480 carats, anchored by a showstopping 80.73-carat cushion-cut stone. Additional accents—diamond buttons on the cape, a diamond-encrusted hip ornament, pearl-studded bird hairpins, Tiffany & Co. bird rings, and a peacock-shaped hair clip—offered subtle homages to Indian royalty and natural motifs.
Her beauty look was equally poised. Rose-brown lips, soft smoky eyes, and a neatly braided hairstyle balanced the grandeur of her attire with a sense of quiet sophistication.
